Davidson College periodically offers educational programs of interest for alumni who embrace a life-long love of learning. 

This year's Alumni Summer College Program, June 3-7, 2009, will focus on "The Islamic World."

Featured Davidson Professors include:

• Jonathan Berkey, Professor of History
• Bill Mahony, Professor and Chair of Religion
• Ken Menkhaus, Professor of Political Science
• Chris Alexander, Associate Professor of Political Science and McGee Director of Dean Rusk International Programs
• Brad Thomas, Director and Curator of Van Every/Smith Galleries at the Katherine and Tom Belk Visual Arts Center.   

This residential educational program will take place on campus.  There will also be opportunities over the four days to explore Davidson and the surrounding area on your own and in organized group activities. 

Registration fees are $590 for residential students (includes all classes, materials, meals, and lodging) or $450 for commuter students (includes all except lodging). Online registration will be available soon; to register by phone please call 704-894-2021.
