This nine-night trip, exclusively for Davidson alumni, will take you to historic County Clare and its vibrant, medieval capital. The tour includes visits to the majestic Cliffs of Moher, a cruise to view the prehistoric monuments of the island of Inishmore, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. You will also explore the ancient Burren, one of Europe’s most mysterious geological regions, Galway, the home of W.B. Yeats, and attend a private reception at the home of Sir Connor O’Brien, a descendant of the last High King of Ireland. Educational themes include finding your Irish roots, the Great Irish Famine, Irish music and dance and Irish literature.
