Lodging Options for Reunion Weekend 2013

On-Campus Housing Information

 Davidson College offers on-campus housing Friday and Saturday night during reunion Weekend to provide convenience and cost-savings to its alumni. Alumni who want to be near friends or bring their families back to campus for a casual weekend may enjoy staying in the residence halls. As a courtesy to Davidson and each other, please treat the residence halls with respect as you would a hotel. The residence halls should not be used for parties. Please return all keys and building visitor cards (CatCards) upon check out to avoid extra fees. Damages on the hall, lost keys, or lost CatCards will result in extra charges.

How do I reserve a room on campus?
Request forms for on-campus rooms can be found by clicking on the link below. You may submit a request for both Friday and Saturday evening or just Saturday evening. Please note that for family apartments or double rooms, one person will need to be responsible for making the reservation and the payment to the college. The deadline to submit a housing request is Friday, May 24, 2013.

What should I need to bring with me if I stay on campus?
On-campus residents will receive sheets, towels, and a pillow up on arrival, as well as a swipe card for access to the building.  Residence halls are air-conditioned and updated, but do remember that restrooms are still shared with others on the hall and in your apartment and you will need to bring any additional amenities (alarm clock, iron, hair dryer, etc.) that you require during your stay.

What information will I need to make a request for on-campus housing?
To make a request, you will want to know how many nights you plan to stay and which type of room you prefer. You will also need to have a form of payment available (check or credit card).
*If you will be staying in a double room, please confirm with your roommate which one of you will make the reservation and payment.

Can I request hall mates?
We will do our best to accommodate requests for alumni to share a hall with their friends. We cannot guarantee you will be with everyone requested, but we will do our best.

What if I bring kids?
The four bedroom apartments available in the Davis Residence Hall are reserved for families attending Reunion Weekend with two or more children. These are suite apartments and will offer comfortable accommodations for families. Our inventory is limited, so register early!

What are the on-campus housing options and prices?

Local Hotel Accommodations

Blocks of hotel rooms have been reserved by reunion class as listed below.  Please indicate that you are reserving a room through the Davidson College Reunion when you contact the hotel; you will need to specify this to receive the discounted rate.  While rooms may continue to be available after the release date, we encourage you to reserve your spot before that deadline to ensure you receive the discount.
