How to Get to Davidson College: Davidson College is located 19 miles north of Charlotte, N.C., just off Interstate 77 at Exit 30. Charlotte's Douglas International Airport, Greyhound and Trailways bus lines, and an Amtrak railway station are 30 minutes away via I-85 and I-77. Taxi service is available from the airport, train, and bus station. - From Charlotte, take I-77 North to Exit 30. Turn right and proceed to campus.
- From Statesville, NC, take I-77 South to Exit 30. Turn left and proceed to campus.
- From Atlanta, take I-85 North to Charlotte. Take I-77 North and proceed to Exit 30. Turn right and proceed to campus.
- From Greensboro, Raleigh, Durham, or Chapel Hill, take I-85 South to I-40 West. In Statesville take I-77 South. Travel approximately 20 miles to Exit 30. Turn left and proceed to campus.
Parking:
For visitors, parking is available in the lots designated on the maps by the V within a yellow circle. Though other public parking may be available on Main Street or Concord Road, college-designated Visitor parking is more plentiful. Admission Office Parking:

From exit 30 on I-77, proceed toward campus on Griffith Street. Cross over the railroad tracks and take an immediate left onto Jackson Street. Follow Jackson around the curve to the right and then turn right into the parking lot -- posted signs should guide your way. Proceed to the end of the parking area where visitor spaces are reserved. Parking for Admission visitors is available in a parking lot parallel to Main Street. Walk to the Admission Office, located at the corner of Griffith and Main Streets.
General Visitor Parking:
From I-77 Exit 30, proceed East on Griffith Street. Griffith Street will intersect with Main Street right in front of the Davidson campus. Take a right onto Main Street and proceed to the first full stoplight. Take a left at the stoplight onto Concord Road. Travel approximately .5 miles until you see Baker Drive on your left. Turn left into the Visitor Parking lot. Public Transportation
