Everette Ceburn Sherrill '64
(Year Awarded--1995)

A variety of roles comprised his relationship to Davidson over the years as student, parent and volunteer. He has served as a chapter president for Winston-Salem and a Parents Council member when his daughter Carolyn '92 was a student. Also, he answered the call of the Campaign for Davidson by serving on its Major Gifts Committee and helping to lead the Winston-Salem Regional Campaign effort, which raised over $3.6 million.

His manner matches the Campaign's theme--a quiet resolve. He and his wife Jean have served as Ne Ultra co-chairs, and he has raised money for the Annual Fund with quiet persistence.
