R. Frank Murphy II '69

Frank Murphy's multi-faceted service to Davidson should be no surprise. As a student here, he was involved in a variety of activities - president of his class, Distinguished Military Student, captain of the baseball team, winner of the Smyre Baseball Award, dean's list student, and member of ODK.

As an alumnus, his volunteer leadership for Davidson has been varied also. He has been a DAAP team leader, Annual Fund class agent, reunion committee member, and president of the national Alumni Association. Most recently, he has served on the Winston-Salem committee for the Campaign for Davidson.

Because Davidson is constantly in your thoughts and because you have actively supported the College and the Alumni Association in many ways over many years, we present you, R. Frank Murphy II, this Alumni Service Award on the occasion of your class' 25th Reunion.
