Lottery Absentee Form

Lottery Absentee Forms are necessary for students who are "on campus" (enrolled in Davidson courses) during the spring semester but are unable to attend a Room Selection night during the lottery process, due to such conflicts as class, athletic, or work obligations.  By completing a Lottery Absentee Form, the student who is unable to attend selection grants permission for another student (proxy) to act on his/her behalf during lottery. The proxy will be taking full responsibility for participating in the selection night in order to secure a fall room assignment for that student. The Residence Life Office cannot be held responsible if the proxy fails to fulfill that responsibility.

Students who need to complete a Lottery Absentee Form should click on the link below to find the form.  The student needs to print off and complete the form.  The designated proxy must then bring the completed Absentee form with him/herself to the selection night in order to act on that student's behalf.
