The Metrolina Career Consortium has joined with the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association to sponsor Career Expo 2010. This is an annual event that Davidson College hosts in collaboration with 17 other colleges and universities in Virginia and the Carolinas.

Over 100 organizations come to the Charlotte Convention Center to recruit from these 18 colleges. The Career Expo (9 am - 1 pm) is a typical job fair in which you can go talk to any employers you choose. Employers wishing to conduct interviews will do so throughout the day as they meet candidates of interest to them.

Career Services will provide transportation to the expo for any students who would like to attend.

Be sure to talk to your professors well in advance about your interest in attending the expo on Thursday if it means missing class.
