Jane Alexanian Sperling '84

Reliable volunteers are the pillars of educational institutions: they accept the call of service, perform their duties punctually and require little attention. They are especially valuable when they fill a variety of roles over a sustained period of time.

She has been a strong Annual Fund Class Chair and Agent for a number of years, a Class Secretary in the past, and an effective member of the Davidson Alumni Admission Team in New York City. This work with three different departments in the College has benefited current students, her classmates, and prospective students.

Jane Alexanian Sperling, your service has been exemplary and your commitment to Davidson has been constant. The Alumni Association expresses its deep gratitude for all that you have done for the school we treasure by presenting you with its Young Alumna Service Award at your class' Tenth Reunion.
