Her service to Davidson over the last ten years has been continuous. She has raised money for the Annual Fund, recruited students for Davidson Alumni Admissions Program, and maintained the unity of her classmates as a Class Secretary and Reunion Volunteer.

And she has done all of this with warmth and genuine interest in the people she served. She understands the ways that a small college nurtures life long friendships, and she values the institution for nurturing those friends.

Because you have held your classmates and Davidson College close to your heart and because you have acted upon this affection by serving both, the Alumni Association recognizes you, Lynne Folcher Blackman, with its Young Alumna Service Award on the occasion of your class' Tenth reunion.
