Student callers are an important part of the fundraising team for the Davidson Annual Fund. As a caller, you will contact alumni to request support for the college. Each student caller is an ambassador for Davidson and, quite often, the only personal contact a prospective donor might have with the college throughout the year.

What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund encompasses unrestricted donations to Davidson. It comprises approximately 10% of the college's operating budget.

Why should I be a caller?
The requisite communications skills, not to mention a positive recommendation from the Annual Fund, will be a plus on your resume.

What skills are required of a caller?
You must be able to think on your feet, have good conversation skills, be comfortable using computers and the Internet, and become well-acquainted with the Davidson Web site, particularly the Giving site.

What are the working hours and pay rate?
Starting pay is $8.00 per hour. All callers must work 4-6 hours per week, afternoons or evenings.
