Senior Experience
Senior Class Gift
"Senior Experience," a concept endorsed by President Bobby Vagt, provides seniors the opportunity to reunite as a class and raise awareness about the internal workings of Davidson College.
The Annual Fund, RLO, Union, Career Services, Dining Services, and Alumni Relations host a number of "seniors-only" events to demonstrate their dedication to the graduating students who have relied on their services. In turn, seniors learn why it costs more than tuition to fund their four-year Davidson experience.
Events like Pigapolooza (a BBQ hosted by Vail Commons), the Senior Banquet (the Alumni Office's annual dinner and slide show), and the Senior Salute (when seniors grab their graduation gowns and make pledges to the class gift) help seniors realize how Davidson and its alumni have supported them. They also learn how much the college relies on their willingness to "give back," making a Davidson education possible for the next entering class.
