The Fideles Society was created to honor the most loyal supporters of the Annual Fund. Fideles, or “the loyal ones,” recognizes longstanding commitment to the college, with five, ten, twenty, and twenty five-year giving circles. 

When an alumnus or an alumna has given for five, ten, twenty, or twenty-five years (not necessarily consecutively), he or she becomes a member of the Fideles giving circle that reflects his or her giving level. Every month, new members are recognized with an acknowledgement letter signed by one of our National Fideles Chairs.

In the 2009 fiscal year, 384 alumni achieved Fideles V, the five year giving circle; 162 reached Fideles X, the ten year giving circle; 119 alumni were inducted into Fideles XX, the twenty year giving circle; and 318 alumni achieved  Fideles XXV, Davidson's newest giving circle which recognizes those who have given to the Annual Fund for twenty five years.
