The Ne Ultra Society was created in 1972 by the college's Board of Trustees to honor those who make exceptional gifts to Davidson, forming the cornerstone of philanthropy upon which the excellence of the Davidson educational experience depends.
The name, Ne Ultra, taken from the college seal, translates from Latin as "none higher." By their example, Ne Ultra Society members encourage others in generous giving to the college.
