As Davidson's largest Annual Fund component, the Living Endowment supports scholarship funds, faculty salaries, and academic resources. Living Endowment gifts are unrestricted, allowing the college to apply the funds where needed most. The Living Endowment reached $3,549,152 in the 2009 fiscal year.

While most endowments grow over a period of several years, the Living Endowment is expended each year, enabling Davidson to provide the best experience for our students. Your gift to the Living Endowment keeps the lights on in Chambers and the computers online, supports scholarship funds, and provides the Wildcat athletes with superior equipment. Davidson relies on this component of the annual budget to maintain our nationally-recognized standard of excellence.
