Personal Leave

  • The college allocates to hourly (non-exempt) employees the equivalent of two days personal leave per year.
  • Hourly employees who are on payroll before July 1 of each year are allocated this leave.
  • Personal leave can be used in lieu of vacation or sick leave.
  • Personal leave hours cannot be carried forward from one fiscal year to the next as personal leave.
  • Any personal leave hours remaining on June 30 will be converted to sick leave.
