Attendance
Expectations for attendance, including work during inclement weather.
Disciplinary Action
The college reserves the right to take actions it deems appropriate when circumstances indicate disciplinary action may be necessary.
Conflict of Interest
College employees shall at all times act in a manner that is consistent with their position and shall take all necessary precautions to avoid any actual or potential conflicts of interest. There are several ways to come forward with reports or concerns about suspected violations of policy.
Dress Code
Employees are expected to wear clothing that is appropriate for their positions.
Firearms and Dangerous Weapons
Davidson College strictly prohibits possession of weapons of any type by students, employees and visitors on all college property, including roadways and parking lots.
Grievance Procedure
Davidson strives to maintain open communication and create an atmosphere of trust. In any work environment, there are times when the need arises to express concerns or complaints in a formal manner.
Political Activity
The college encourages employees to exercise their rights with regard to political activity with consideration for certain guidelines.
