Transitions are good times to eat

Sometimes a backcountry crew will end up in base camp between activities. Here is one such crew and they have cooked some devine dutch dump cake. This photo was taken just before the river/logistics staff descended on the dutch oven with spoons in hand. It was a short, but good, dessert.
