Registration Schedule

Registering for Spring Semester 2010
Oct 26-Nov 15 Submit course preferences through WebTree.  Special WebTree PIN available only from advisor for students on campus.  Students on leave will use the last four digits of their Davidson ID number.
Nov 18 - 24 Schedule adjustment on "Shirley"  Note: it may be that adjustment can start no earlier than mid-afternoon.
Jan 4-10 Schedule adjustment on CATS Link ("Shirley" web) for changes not involving permissions or exceptions.
Jan 11-17 First week of term: Regular drop/add in Registrar's Office (for changes involving permissions or exceptions). Changes still possible on the web ("Shirley") if no permissions or exceptions are involved.
Jan 18-22 Late drop/add ($20 late drop/add fee).  No changes -- including drops -- are possible on the "Shirley." All changes, including drops, must be made in the Registrar's Office.   All drops must be completed by Jan 22.  Drops subsequently made at the professor's request for students who ceased attending before the end of the second week but did not drop officially will incur a fee of $50.

June 1-30 Incoming new students will register through WebTree.
Early Aug, Sophomores, juniors, and seniors only: schedule adjustment on CATS Link ("Shirley" web) for changes not involving permissions or exceptions.
Fri. of Orientation For new students only: schedule adjustment on CATS Link ("Shirley" web) during Orientation.  For other students, "Shirley" opens Sat-Sun.
Aug First week of class: Regular drop/add in Registrar's Office (for changes involving permissions or exceptions). Changes still possible on "Shirley" only if no permissions or exceptions are involved.
Aug/Sept Second week of class: Late drop/add ($20 late drop/add fee).  No changes -- including drops -- are possible on the web. All changes, including drops, must be made in the Registrar's Office.   All drops must be completed by Friday of the 2nd week of the semester.  Drops subsequently made at the professor's request for students who ceased attending before the end of the second week but did not drop officially will incur a fee of $50; "professor's request" means that the student didn't attend, not that the professor can decide whether to authorize a withdrawal from the class.
