Note: Morning exam periods are 8:40 - 12:15; afternoon exam periods are 1:40 - 5:15.  There are no evening exam periods in either semester and no Sunday exams in the fall semester.  There is an exam period on Sunday afternoon (not morning) in the spring semester only. 

New as of fall 2008: there is an exam period  on the afternoon of the last day of exams.

Instructions are printed on exam envelopes, which students need to obtain in the Bookstore, fill out, and take to their professors well before Reading Day.  Morning exams may be picked up in the Exam Center (Chambers Lobby) between 8:40 and 9:15 (only); afternoon exams, between 1:40 and 2:15 (only). 

An Honor Council reminder: books, notes, and cell phones are not to be brought into Chambers Building during exams.

Grades: when final grades have been recorded by the instructor and processed by the Registrar, they will be available to the student on "Shirley."  Usually, the due date is 4-5 working days after the last exam period.   When the fall exam period is relatively late, the due date is the first working day after Jan. 1.
