Over the next five years, our quality, variety and service improvements will make Vail Commons the predominant dining option for all students. In that time we will continue increase our meal plan numbers.
Strategic Goals
Continue working on the planned renovation of Vail Commons.
Keep abreast of current culinary trends and products during a year of economic highs in food cost, transportation and labor.
Sustainability program – Vail Commons will promote environmental sustainability by advocating the concepts of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle in our operation. We will eliminate Styrofoam and paper products will be made of compostable material. We will reduce the usage of bottled water on campus and work toward the start of the college composting program.
Continue to maintain a high level of student interaction at Vail Commons. Keep involved with the students by continuing to pursue excellent customer service, hosting the PS restaurant group, and participating in the student food committee meetings.
