A maximum of two courses completed for credit in joint or dual enrollment programs (high school/college) may be transferred if the courses meet the ordinary criteria for eligible transfer (accredited college or university; courses consistent with the academic objectives of Davidson College; grade of C-minus or better) and the courses are not used to meet the requirements for graduation from high school or for admission to Davidson College. Transfer evaluation of courses taken prior to graduation from high school further requires: a. An official transcript from the college or university attended; b. An official letter from the college or university confirming that the courses were: ---Taught on its campus; ---Taught by a regular member of its faculty; ---Taken in competition with degree candidates of that institution, who constitute a majority in those courses; ---A regular part of the curriculum of the institution; and c. An official letter from the high school principal or guidance counselor confirming that the courses were not used to satisfy high school graduation requirements.
