What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund is comprised of The Davidson Trust, Living Endowment, Davidson Athletic Foundation, and WDAV 89.9 Classical Public Radio. Gifts to the Annual Fund supplement the overall operating budget for the college. Participation in the Annual Fund is viewed as a measure of alumni satisfaction, which influences the college's ability to secure grants from corporations and foundations and is a determining factor in Davidson's rankings nationally.
Why don’t all gifts count toward the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund consists of unrestricted gifts to the college that support the yearly operating budget. A gift made to support a restricted project, such as a particular scholarship fund or a capital project, cannot be used in the operating budget of the college.
Why is it important to give to the Annual Fund even if you have made other/restricted gifts to Davidson?
Davidson depends on the Annual Fund to balance the yearly operating costs. Tuition covers approximately two thirds of the actual cost of a Davidson education. Gifts to the Annual Fund help make up the difference.

What is the Annual Fund's refund policy?
Online gifts made to the college can be canceled up to 72 hours after submission for a full refund.
What is the Annual Fund's privacy policy?
Davidson College is committed to protecting your privacy. Information collected is only used to process your gift. Davidson College does not sell, trade, or rent the personal information you provide.
How do I get a printed copy of my tax receipt?
