Since Russian is not often taught in U. S. high schools, few students will place above the beginning level.  If you have studied Russian before, please see Prof. Amanda Ewington when you arrive or get in touch with Prof. Ewington by email.  If you have studied Russian extensively (more than two years), you might appropriately register for Russian 201.

Distribution: Russian courses numbered 100W and 291-294, 302, 320, and 349-361 satisfy the distribution requirement in literature.
