Logging In to WebTree

WebTree is where you enter your course preferences. To enter, WebTree will ask for your User ID (the Davidson ID, beginning with 800 or 801) and your PIN. Students presently on campus will receive their PINs from their advisers. For students not now on campus, the PIN for this registration will be the last four digits of your Davidson ID number.
WebTree choices apply to credit courses only. Non-credit courses (physical education, applied music, military science) should be added later. Do not attempt to include non-credit courses on WebTree.
WebTree will ask that you go through each tree (1-4) -- Tree 1, for instance, contains space for selections 1, 1A, 1B, 1AA, 1AB, 1BA, and 1BB. You will enter your course choices by CRN (the 5-digit number found in the course schedule for the semester for which you are registering). If the course requires permission of the instructor, WebTree will ask that you click "yes"--and, of course, you are expected to answer the question honestly. A permission is not an exception. Even if you are a sophomore who has "permission" to get into a course for juniors only, you won't get in on WebTree. All exceptions to restrictions must go through the Registar's Office starting the first day of the semester.
The WebTree program will tell you what course the CRN designates. The program does not check for time conflicts at the time you enter a CRN for a course. You might need to put two courses taught at the same time as 1A and 1B, because you get 1B only if 1A is unavailable.
IMPORTANT: Until you click "SUBMIT," you may login again and change your choices. Once you've clicked SUBMIT, you may no longer make changes. Don't SUBMIT until you have filled out what you need to on all four "trees." (The program will process any selections you've made, however, even if you have not clicked the "SUBMIT" button. You may print a copy of your selections.)
