Greek Lyric Poetry Amid food and drink, students observed "Sympotic Wednesday," delivering personal versions of ancient works covered during the term, reciting memorized Greek or reading their own translations. Marshall Findlay performed his translation of Mimnermus 1, "Please Make Sure I'm Gone!"
