Required Education in the Protection of Human Subjects Research Participants
The Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) requires that all members of the college’s Human Subjects Institutional Review Board and any individual conducting federally-funded research involving human subjects complete a program of instruction on the responsible treatment of human subjects.
The Tutorial – Basic Instruction
As a public service, the NIH Office of Extramural Research offers a free tutorial on "Protecting Human Research Participants" that institutions may elect to use to meet the human subjects protections education requirement.
