Recent Activities

• Researched and initiated conversations with faculty, staff, students, and involved alumni about areas of interest, as well as past and future involvement with DBAN, women of color alumnae, and student activities (STRIDE).
• A survey was generated during this short time in lieu of previous activities for participation, networking events, mentoring and leadership, a newsletter, and without official inclusion or review, with intention to help initiate future ideas for alumni and students of color.

Vision
In acceptance for the two-year chairperson and membership committee, and in the interests of strengthening and fostering impactful relationships in the greater community and amongst each other, our mission as Davidson College alumni of color, along with students of color, family, friends, faculty, and staff, is the challenge to engage and re-engage through a collaborative effort, a renewed commitment through generosity, involvement, and ongoing conversation to foster intentional community, growth, and expression.
