Recent Activities

• Mentor: Involved with the proposed DBAN mentoring program and currently mentor Kaneisha Gaston '13. Mentor also for Terry Fellows and Bonner Scholars Program.
• One of the three chairs for the 5-year class reunion planning committee (only alumna/us of color on the committee); assisted with planning events with DBAN for Reunion weekend; assisted with planning and volunteering at ACE events as well as Dinner at Davidson and the Weekend of Service through the Center for Civic Engagement.

Vision
I envision DBAN becoming a vibrant and visible organization on campus, in the community, and among current students and alumni of color; thereby, having a significant voice and role in terms of access, influence, and impact (i.e., community service, mentoring, networking, career development, financial support, and assisting in the recruitment and retention of students of color).
