Basic job functions expected
Assists the SVP-Community Programs and Civic Leadership research and implement the initiatives of the Robinson Center for Civic Leadership. The intern will assist with strategy development, researching community and/or Foundation related opportunities, developing briefing papers and assisting with community convenings.
Typical projects on which the fellow may be asked to assist:
- Conducting research, analyzing and making recommendations regarding new and/or existing civic leadership (CL) initiatives.
- Assisting with planning, resourcing and implementation of civic leadership initiatives
- Designing protocols for Foundation-initiated projects
What academic or professional backgrounds would be helpful for work in your organization?
Political science, public policy, economics, etc.

Please note: This position has one difference from the other positions in this program. Due to policies set forth by the Foundation for the Carolinas, the Fellow hired will be officially in a contract position for the one-year period and will not have health benefits.
