THE SAMUEL D. MALONEY ESSAY PRIZE 2012

This award is given for the best student essay concerning any aspect of religious life as it relates to its social, cultural and/or ethical dimensions. The winner of the 2012 Samuel D. Maloney Essay Prize is Zachary Herron for his essay "Speaking through the Gods: Chinese Malaysian Construction of an Ethnic Identity through Localized Religious Imaginings."
