March MATHness is an exciting and engaging Saturday for current high school students. This year's activities include:
- Arthur Benjamin! Enjoy a fast-paced performance by Harvey Mudd's Arthur Benjamin. Named by Reader's Digest as "America's Best Math Whiz," he will demonstrate and explain how to mentally add and multiply numbers faster than a calculator, how to memorize 100 digits of pi, how to figure out the day of the week of any date in history, and other amazing feats of the mind!
- Compete in or be in the audience for a single elimination, bracketed, tournament where teams of four students try to outwit their opponents. Sign up with a teammmate or be placed with one.
- Hear a lecture on chaos and fractals. Learn to perform math on a doodle!
