The film is a twelve-minute reflection on travel and Dr. McCarthy's relationship to Germany. She made it in conjunction with a course she team-taught for students returning from study or service projects abroad who wanted to debrief and reflect on their experiences. Dr. McCarthy did the final assignment with them and created her own autobiographical document.
