Davidson Ministry Fellowships in Religious Vocation and Leadership

Overview:
These fellowships are available to Davidson College students of any faith tradition with a strong recordwalking to the city of academic achievement, campus leadership, and service. Students are nominated by faculty, staff, and area clergy, and make formal application for these fellowships during their junior year. Nominees may or may not already be considering a vocation to service in a religious setting (as a clergyperson or professional lay leader), but they are perceived by the community as having gifts for religious leadership. Ministry Fellows engage in a congregation-based summer internship following their junior year under the mentorship of a seasoned clergyperson, and they participate in a non-credit vocational discernment seminar during their senior year. This fellowship opportunity is administered by the Preministerial Committee. For more information, contact the College Chaplain.

Recent Ministry Fellows:
Tianna Butler, Chad Harper, Hannah Jordan, Sarah Jordan, and Alex Wyse.
