 Carol Quillen was inaugurated as the 18th president of Davidson College on Tuesday, October 18.
In a ceremony attended by more than 1,500 students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends and delegates from other colleges, Board of Trustees Chair Mackey McDonald '68 administered the Oath of Office. President Quillen delivered remarks about Davidson and the liberal arts.
Following President Quillen's address, awards were presented, as part of Fall Convocation, to outstanding students and faculty.
