Belk Hall

The largest residence hall located in the center of campus, Belk has 145 doubles and 18 singles for a total occupancy of 308.  In the basement of Belk on the west side are the offices for Residence Life, Patterson Court, and Auxiliary Services. On the east side basement level, across from the laundry is a large computer lab open to campus. Dedicated in 1955, the building is named for William Henry Belk, who joined the Board of Trustees in 1929 and was the Senior Trustee at the time of his death in 1952. All five of his sons are alumni.

Each floor in Belk (with the exception of the basement, which is only one wing) is divided into two single-gender "wings".  Each wing has their own common bathroom.  There are a total of 7 TV/study lounges in the building, with each floor having at least one.
