For Volunteers:
Did you know:
Spring 2010 was the first year of DSVS and 100% of the teachers would recommend it to a friend or colleague! Here's a quote from one of our host teachers:
"The volunteers did an excellent job of interacting with the students. They were able to explain the science concepts in a way that all students could understand."
And what volunteers said about their experience:
"I loved feeling like I was having an impact on these kids' futures and contributing for their love for science."
"I heard one child exclaim when we were doing the lab, 'Wow! This is so cool! This is what I'm going to grow up to do!'"
