John Papadopoulos - Hey guys, I'm John from Boston, MA and Thessaloniki, Greece. Over the summer I'll be on the Davidson in Washington Program taking a class on US foreign policy and national security, and maybe doing some traveling. I look forward to meeting everyone during orientation!  

Rosie Kosinski - Grew up in Jerusalem, Israel. Interning for a kid's entertainment production company in New York this summer. I'm a Studio Art major and a social chameleon: I can be anything that I think the group lacks, quiet, shy, and observant, or fun, active and talkative (or anything in between).  

Bree Moniz-Soares - Hey, my name is Brites but everyone calls me Bree. I am from the Azores in Portugal and I am an Economics major. I also play for the tennis team here. This summer I am working with my dad back home to get some experience in the field of banking. Can't wait to meet you all! 

Jacob Simmonds - Hi, I'm Jacob Simmonds, Prince of New Zealand, and I'm a Physics Major/3-2 Engineering Program. This Summer I'll likely be heading out to Malaysia for an engineering internship at a hydropower company, and then going back to Auckland to be awkward at clubs. Lots of fun. Davidson's a pretty cool place; you'll like it here.

Lenny Shenje - Born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe. Rising junior who has had a blast thus far at Davidson. I could tell you that I enjoy classical music (make that all kinds of music) or that I am the International Association Student Senator, but that is not as important as letting you know that we are very much looking forward to meeting all of you!

Ana Pinheiro - I'm Brazilian from Belo Horizonte but before coming to Davidson I'd been living in Saudi Arabia for 12 years. I'm a rising sophomore so I'm still not sure what I'm going to major in, but most likely Bio or Psych with a Neuroscience concentration (inshaallah). If you ever wanna have a ridiculously funny dress crazy time contact me and my roommate!! We're well stacked with wigs, glitter and animal print!  

Terry Zhou - Greetings! I'm Terry from Shanghai, China, and it is so good to see many new faces from all around the globe! I major in physics and would like to do some engineering in the future. This summer I will get some extra credits in Berkeley and later having some experience in an industrial firm. Once again, WELCOME and see you around the campus!

Christiane Repenning - Born in Guatemala and moved to Germany when I was six. I'm planning to double major in Anthropology and Spanish. This summer I'm taking a Biology class and am hoping to do an internship at a Photo Agency in Hamburg because I enjoy photography a lot. I am also very interested in languages, so if you ever want to teach someone a couple of words in your language, I'd love to learn from you! 

 Elizabeth Shin - I'm a junior and major in Ethnic Studies. Grew up in America (Georgia, North Carolina, California, and New York) and moved to Seoul, Korea 10 years ago. This summer I will be in Seoul doing research for my thesis (studying the cosmetic surgery craze in Korea). I have developed an obsession with traveling to deserts, most recently visiting the Atacama Desert in Chile and the Gobi in China.

Gaby Baldeon - Hello!! My name is Gaby Baldeon. I am a rising Senior from Quito, Ecuador and a biology major. This summer, I am researching with the Plants for Human Health Institute and traveling to Zambia with a group of students from Davidson to study public health. Awesome! I'm also the President of the Davidson International Association (DIA), which you should all join!  I'm looking forward to meeting you!

George Mukosera - Welcome to the awesome place! I mean Davidson College. My name is George Mukosera, and I am a rising sophomore, undeclared Chemistry major, and Pre-med student. I will love meeting you all, and will be glad to tell you about Zimbabwe, where I come from. And, If you need help in locating your church I will be glad to help you, in addition to Rev. Spach.
