On-Campus & Online Interviews

Interviewing Timeline
Davidson students participate in our on-campus and online interviewing program to obtain internships and full-time career positions. This program runs from late September through November and from January through April. Interviews are typically scheduled in half-hour intervals beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing until 4:30 p.m., with an hour break for lunch.

Managing Your Interview Schedule
Career Services uses a web-based recruiting system to schedule interviews and manage the transmission of applications. When you schedule your interviews you may choose to have an open or a pre-select schedule. An open schedule allows students to sign up on a first-come, first-served basis. With a pre-select schedule you may choose specific candidates and invite them to interview. You will be given access to the online database so that you can manage your candidate selection if you wish to do so. Once a schedule has been set, we ask that you adhere to it.

Online Interviewing Option
Career Services interview rooms are equipped to manage online interviews using Skype, WebEx or other video conferencing technologies. Consider this virtual face-to-face option if you are unable to travel to campus.

Off-Campus Interviews in Chicago, New York City, San Francisco & Washington, DC

Davidson is a member of the Selective Liberal Arts Consortium, which offers employers the opportunity to interview bright, talented graduating seniors from 14 of the nation's most selective and competitive liberal arts colleges including Davidson, Haverford, Bryn Mawr, Vassar, Pomona and Grinnell. Interviews take place in the following cities:

• Chicago—November 30, 2012
• New York City—January 4, 2013
• Washington, DC —January 7, 2013
• San Francisco—January 11, 2013
