The Civic Engagement Council is a group of student leaders working to inspire and communicate civic engagement efforts through direct service, advocacy and community involvement. The Council acts as an umbrella organization for service or social action groups.
The Civic Engagement Council Chair is elected through campus-wide elections held at the beginning of the spring semester. The positions of Business Director, Programming Chair (Member Outreach) and Programming Chair (Engage for Change) are filled through an application and interview process following the election of the Council Chair.
Applications for the 2013-2014 academic year will be available in the spring 2013 semester.
Email Kristin Booher with questions about or to contact the Council.
