Annually, the Center for Civic Engagement hosts an Institute that provides an opportunity for service leaders to come together.  The agenda varies according to the current needs of the students and the general goals remain constant.  These goals include opportunities for:

• Gaining crucial information relevant to a leadership role
• Exchanging resources about leadership work
• Talking with other leaders about ways to communicate and collaborate

Save the date for  the 2013 Service Leaders Institute: the evening of Friday, September 13 to the afternoon Saturday, September 14.  We will be hosting the Institute off-campus at beautiful Camp Caanan, on the banks of Catawba River.
