Davidson College Concert Series
The Davidson College Concert Series presents a season featuring the best of North Carolina artists. From veteran members of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra to captivating bluegrass and folk performers, this season's lineup celebrates the talented musicians and diverse musical traditions that surround Davidson.

Season tickets for the full Concert Series are available for $45 general admission, $35 for senior citizens and Davidson College faculty and staff. Tickets for individual events are available for $12 general admission, $8 for senior citizens and Davidson College faculty and staff, $5 for youth 18 and under. Davidson College students can attend concert series events at no charge.

Davidson College Theatre Department
The Davidson College Theatre Department presents a season that embraces this year's college theme, Global Connections. Audience members will see the cross-pollinating of ideas as departments across campus come together to discuss the global themes in Velina Hasu Houston's play Kokoro. Collaborations with departments from humanities, laboratory sciences, and social sciences will inform the performances of Galileo and Pride and Prejudice. Faculty from the departments of music and theatre are also busy planning the spring musical, Into the Woods.

The Theatre Department offers a Flex Pass that allows savings of 20 percent over single tickets. Flex Pass holders can choose their performance dates. Season Flex Passes provide admission to all four shows of the season and are available for $37 general admission, $25 for seniors, $22 for Davidson faculty and staff, $16 for students. The Mainstage Flex Pass provides admission to the department's two mainstage shows (Pride and Prejudice and Into the Woods); these passes are $24 general admission, $18 for seniors, $14 for Davidson faculty and staff.

Davidson College Artist Series
The Artist Series began more than 70 years ago as a series of performances by visiting musicians and choral groups. Since 1975, the students of Davidson College have been very involved and primarily responsible for the series, handling ticket sales, artist selection, publicity, and the preparation and clean-up of all events. In 2002, the series was named the C. Shaw and Nancy K. Smith Artist Series in honor of C. Shaw Smith, the first College Union Director of Davidson College.

Today, the C. Shaw and Nancy K. Smith Artist Series is proud to offer an ever-growing series of entertainment, culture, and quality. The faculty and students who participate in the Union Board Artist Series Committee take great pride in selecting and presenting a series that students, faculty, staff, and members of the surrounding community can all enjoy and experience with their friends and family members.

This season, Canadian-based ScrapArtsMusic and The Peking Acrobats are just two of the amazing performing arts groups who will grace the stage of the Duke Family Performance Hall as part of the Artist Series.

Season subscriptions are on sale until September 21. Season ticket holders save 33% off the individual ticket price. Individual tickets for each performance are also on sale now. All seats are reserved and cost $20 each for general public patrons.
