Dave Martin, has been involved with sustainability efforts and environmental education for a number of years in a variety of capacities. Engaged in both college affairs and the wider community, Martin currently serves on the Davidson College Sustainability Council and as the president of the Davidson Lands Conservancy. He received his B.A. in Economics from the DePauw University and his masters and Ph. D. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His current research interest is the economics of water use in the Keoladeo National Park in Rajasthan, India. When he is taking a break from making the world a better place he enjoys hiking with his wife and dog, swimming, and listening to the Grateful Dead, the Old 97’s, and Moe.
