Locally Sponsored Rides
The Rocky River Road Club members generally ride on Saturday mornings out of The Cycle Path bicycle shop in Cornelius. They also list rides sponsored by other groups in the greater Davidson area. Cool Breeze Cyclery offers a really nice ride calendar that you might find useful. The Spirited Cyclist also offers weekly riding opportunities from one of its area stores.

Mountain Bike Trails in the Area
We are blessed with a number of very nice mountain biking trails near Davidson. Within a ten minute drive is Fisher Farm Park. Drive a little further and you can visit North Meck Community Park in  Huntersville, Renaissance Park in Charlotte, or Lake Norman State Park in Troutman. Check this Google Maps page out for a list of area mountain biking trails.

Road Routes in the Area
There are a few websites on which you can list routes and then share them with fellow riders. The Bikely site has a number of good routes for the Davidson area. Just go to the site and search for routes that mention Davidson, NC. Davidson Outdoors also has a notebook of road routes you can copy and take with you on your ride.
