On Tuesday, Aug. 17, the North Carolina Court of Appeals issued a ruling in North Carolina v. Julie Anne Yencer, a case that affects Davidson College.

On Aug. 26, the North Carolina Supreme Court granted a stay in the case, and the Attorney General's Office has asked the court to agree to seek a full review of the case.

On Sept. 10, Davidson College filed a motion for leave to file an amicus brief (12 mb pdf) in the case.

Our Police Department continues to operate to ensure that our campus is safe and secure for our students and for the rest of our community.

Additional information will be posted as it becomes it available.
