Graduating senior music major Caitlin McCarville '10 received a scholarship from the Longy School of Music for graduate study in vocal performance. She also was cast in the role of Susanna in the Summer 2010 production of Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro with the American Opera Singers Project.
Mathematics major Maria Beery '06 has changed career paths after studying voice at Davidson. Maria will join Caitlin McCarville '10 in the American Opera Singers Project 2010 production of Le Nozze di Figaro where she will play the roll of the Countess. She will then be participating as a Developing Artist in the 2010 Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. In addition to these exciting upcomming events, Maria was awarded second place in the Continuing Education Division of the NATS Mid-Atlantic Regional Competition.
Current Davidson freshman Eyyüphan Keskin '13 was awarded third place in the Freshemn Men Division of the North Carolina NATS State Competition and also participated in the NATS Mid-Atlantic Regional Competition.
