Prospective International Students

Davidson welcomes applications from international students wishing to pursue a four-year undergraduate degree; however, the college is not able to offer financial assistance to all students who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. 

If a student's personal financial situation is such that more than nominal assistance is required, he or she must be aware that competition for the available funds is keen. It is advised that the student file additional applications to other colleges.

A limited number of students who are nationals of countries other than the United States receive financial assistance each year. These funds vary in amount and are based on a combination of financial need and merit.

Current International Students

If you wish to be considered for need-based financial aid, you and your family must reapply each year. 

You must complete the online CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE as well as the International Student Financial Aid Application and the  International Student Certification of Finances. 

For the paper forms we suggest you email them, forward the link, or print and mail them to your family to complete. The online form will be received by Davidson electronically from the College Board. The completed application  must be received by the Financial Aid Office by May 1.

Athletic grant renewal

Renewed automatically if you continue to participate in your sport as required by the Athletics Department

The Davidson College Athletics Financial Aid Agreement will be sent to you in late spring.
