Noted civil rights lawyer, activist and educator Julius Chambers will give a lecture titled "Landmark Civil Rights Cases, A Conversation with Julius Chambers." Chambers will speak on landmark employment civil rights cases he has successfully argued before the U.S. Supreme Court and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He will also address the evolution of Title VII, and recent issues involving Justice Sotomayor and the U.S. Supreme Court's resolution of the RICCI case involving the New Haven firefighters.
