In 1984 I couldn't have imagined the wonderful adventures that lay ahead as Overland grew from just three bicycle trips in New England to 37 programs spanning outdoor travel, service, language study abroad and writing programs that offer the kind of learning experience we wish every school could offer. At every step of the way, our focus on the quality of the experience we offer has never wavered. Our directors and year-round staff have created exciting and engaging programs; our leaders have been role models of the highest caliber; and our students have shown themselves to be fun-loving, enthusiastic and adventurous. For over 20 years, we've seen how superb leadership, high expectations and carefully crafted programs can bring out the best in our students.
