Brad Gooch, author of the acclaimed biographies of Flannery O'Connor and Frank O'Hara gave a public lecture titled "Walking Backward: Flannery O'Connor's Life and Work" on September 10.   Gooch met with students in Professor Elizabeth Mills' Violence and Vision seminar, which investigates these dynamic forces and their interplay in the works of Flannery O'Connor, A. R. Ammons, and Ernest Gaines.

Brad Gooch teaches at William Paterson University.
